I completely appreciate the time and effort that has been put into this project, especially in recent weeks on 3.1.x. My rebuildd setup was hosed somehow, so packages provided on debian.nfgd.net are incomplete and outdated. Someone is working on getting DBMail + Libzdb into Debian proper, and I think there may be some PPA somewhere for Ubuntu as well. Sorry I don't have time to work on that at the moment. There is way too much going on in DBMail's master branch I want to finish up on. Some really nice IMAP capabilities that will especially help mobile users (and thunderbird, afaik). Also, I really want to land proper automatic schema-migrations - something users have been asking for for a very long time. I think I have a nice setup for that now, but it still needs to be integrated and finished. So that is my release plan for now: The current branch (dbmail_3_1) is for bug-fixes only. The micro-version will be used for that. When newer features land that require schema migrations or haven't seen any or little real-world testing, the minor version will be bumped. Only complete re-writes of sub-systems will lead to major version bumps. -- ________________________________________________________________ Paul J Stevens pjstevns @ gmail, twitter, skype, linkedin * Premium Hosting Services and Web Application Consultancy * www.nfg.nl/info [at] nfg/+31.85.877.99.97 ________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________ DBmail mailing list DBmail [at] dbmail http://mailman.fastxs.nl/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/dbmail
