pop3d segfaulting

I've had this yesterday:

/var/log/messages:
Nov 9 13:53:26 mailsrv1.zmi.at kernel: dbmail-pop3d[12215]: segfault at
c ip 00000000f7cec943 sp 00000000ff8a66d0 error 4 in
libc-2.5.so[f7c87000+128000]

/var/log/dbmail:
Nov 9 13:53:07 mailsrv1.zmi.at dbmail/lmtpd[14330]: Error:[message]
dbmail-message.c,_set_content_from_stream(+388): Failed to flush, is
your /tmp filesystem full?
Nov 9 13:53:07 mailsrv1.zmi.at dbmail/lmtpd[14330]: Error:[lmtp]
lmtp.c,lmtp(+578): dbmail_message_new_from_stream() failed

I don't believe /tmp was full, there are 2,3GB free now. Could something
else be the problem?

Even though the /tmp filesystem may appear to have plenty space, I've
seen reports that sometimes filehandles are not released properly. or
something else was taking up real-estate in /tmp. Try lowering
MAXCONNECTS to something like 100.
