Safe to use multiple 2.2.x releases at once?

Would there be any problem having two 2.2.x MXes running at once against
the same backend database? Specifically I'm thinking of one server with
2.2.9-1ubuntu1 (from hardy) and one server with 2.2.11-1 (from jaunty
beta). How cautious do I need to be with this?

Not. They are perfectly compatible.
