Crap. Don't install this list. No need for php, java, tetex, xawd, sasl,
....

> grep Build-Depends debian/control
Build-Depends: automake1.9, debhelper (>= 5.0.7), dpatch, libsieve2-dev
(>= 2.1.12), libglib2.0-dev, libgmime-2.0-2-dev | libgmime2.1-dev,
libldap2-dev, libsqlite3-dev, libpq-dev, libmysqlclient15-dev |
libmysqlclient14-dev, pkg-config, libtool, asciidoc, xmlto, chrpath,
po-debconf

Of course you'll need the suse equiv for those packages.

Yes, and the rest are the dependencies that got installed. I just wanted
to give a hint on what packages were installed because I needed the
files you listed.

May I ask what dbmail requirement required apache2 with all the php5
modules?

Dunno. I just did a "rpm -qa --last" from the openSUSE 11.1 I have, and
took all packages installed at the time I compiled. Here the list
including times. And I said "Maybe not every package is purely for
dbmail, but it's a good start", so please: It has been a hint in case
the OP falls into a depency problem again. I remember it was an
unpleasant process to compile dbmail (on a fresh OS11.1): A *lot* of
times I had to start compilation again because it missed a package, I
installed it, reconfig/recompile, again a package missing...

I see now that after "libldapcpp-devel" there was a time gap - so
probably I started compliation of dbmail over there.
