DBMail as solution for offline-email - is it workable?
|
|
Hello all, I am using Google App's Gmail service for my company, so now I want to: - install DBMail on local mail server - fetching email of each users on Gmail and deliver to local user which manage by DBMail (a kind of off-line email) - let user send email to outside via local SMTP which relay to Google's SMTP - I know that doable with postfix So the question is: - does DBMail support to fetching email from remote POP server with SSL or I have to use another deamon like getmail/fetchmail to download email from Gmail and pass it to local POP/IMAP which handle by DBMail ? If NO, is DBMail will receive email pass to it by getmail/fetchmail ? I just found DBMail today while looking into another solution to solve my case that let me play a lot of time with fetchmail/postfix/cyrus/dovecot but not success. If anyone of you had same problem and experienced with this kind of problem please give some hint/starting point to start. Thank you and regards, PS: I am not native English speaker so hope I did right explanation for my case. _______________________________________________ DBmail mailing list DBmail [at] dbmail https://mailman.fastxs.nl/mailman/listinfo/dbmail
