Outlook Express Public folders

Has anyone gotten IMAP public folders to work with Outlook express?
I'm using OE 6, and when I choose a Public Folder to Show it ignores it.
If I click on the Go To button then it shows up in the mail client under
the mail folder #Public, however if you click on the Public box it gives
a no permissions error.
When I click on Show the #Public folder it gives an error that the
"mailbox does not exist."
When the public folder I want does show up, it disappears again on OE
restart.
Any thoughts (aside from don't use Outlook Express)?
