Illegal seek on read-stream during IMAP session

Greetings.

I'm just setting up DBMail on a new system, having never used it in the
past. It looks very promising, so I'd like to extend a big "thank you"
to Paul and the rest of the contributors.

When I connect to the IMAP daemon, I invariably get the following
message in syslog and in dbmail.err.

Apr 27 19:58:47 pony dbmail/imap4d[12764]: Error:[imap]
imap4.c,IMAPClientHandler(+139): [Illegal seek] on read-stream

I searched the web and found only one mention of the error [0], and that
thread doesn't seem to focus on this particular issue.

Is this a known problem? How should I go about looking into it?

FWIW, IMAP access still seems to work well enough, despite the error.

This is DBMail version 2.2.10 (Debian) with a PostgreSQL 8.3.1 back-end.

Thanks.

Colin

I think it's known but harmless.

Correct. An error is raised by the IO layer that doesn't seem to affect
functionality. I've already replaced the networking IO layer in 2.3+, so
it's moot from a development perspective.
