Installation instructions and Debian system upgrade

Hello all,

I am new to the list, though I have been using Davical for a few years
now without any trouble. Thanks Andrew and all the contributors for such
a nice piece of software :-)

In *1.* hereafter, there is some background information on my problem.
My questions are in *2.*.

*1.*

I am running a Debian Linux server on *Squeeze*, with Davical installed
as per the official instructions there:
http://www.davical.org/installation.php by adding the repository:

deb http://debian.mcmillan.net.nz/debian squeeze awm

to my /etc/apt/sources.list (well, the instructions talk about *lenny*,
but I changed it to "squeeze", which indeed exists there too.. this page
should be updated, really).

When I visit the setup.php page on the server, I get this version
information, in the table listing the "dependencies" :

- Depency : Current DAViCal version 0.9.9.3
- Status : 1.1.1

So, it is saying that I have 0.9.9.3 installed, and that I could update
it to 1.1.1.

This is confirmed by # apt-cache policy davical

davical:
Installed: 0.9.9.3-0
Candidate : 1.1.1-1
Version table:
1.1.1-1 0
500 http://debian.mcmillan.net.nz/debian/ squeeze/awm amd64
Packages
*** 0.9.9.3-0 0
500 http://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian/ squeeze/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Also, doing a apt-get won't install 1.1.1. The apt tool says that the
following packages have been kept and are not updated: "davical libawl-php"

*2.*

OK, so I have 2 questions in relation to the installation and the
upgrade instructions.

*2.1*

I need to do a system upgrade of my Debian "Squeeze" server to "Wheezy".
In this process, I would like to upgrade my Davical installation from
0.9.9.3 to 1.1.1.

I see that the Debian *non-official* repository mentioned by the
installation instructions *does not* have (yet ?) a "wheezy" entry.

In turn, version 1.1.1-1 of Davical is in the *official* Debian
repositories for the current stable Wheezy:
http://packages.debian.org/stable/web/davical

For completing my upgrade from Debian "Squeeze" to "Wheezy", including
Davical from 0.9.9.3 to 1.1.1., can I just take out the "deb
http://debian.mcmillan.net.nz/debian squeeze awm" line from my
/etc/apt/sources.list and rely only my mirrors for the *official*
Debian repository for wheezy ?

As a side question: If the Debian official repositories contain the
proper packages, shouldn't the installation instructions be updated to
say so?

*2.2*

The page http://www.davical.org/installation.php says that after a
version upgrade *dba/update-davical-database* shall be run. Is that done
by apt-get in the upgrade process?

Thanks for your insights

This should be ok. The packages

davical_1.1.1-1_all.deb and
libawl-php_0.53-1_all.deb

from Debian Wheezy and from http://debian.mcmillan.net.nz/debian are
exactly the same. I compared them with diff some days ago.
