Migration from Nokia N900 / Maemo: calendar

Hi,

I migrated a calendar from a Nokia N900 (running Maemo freemantle) to
davical, and here are my experiences. The export function of the Maemo
calendar produces an iCalendar (.ics) file which I tried to import
through the davical web interface. That imported only one event,
because each event is in its own calendar in the file; the structure
that is repeated is like:

BEGIN:VCALENDAR
VERSION:1.0
BEGIN:VTIMEZONE
TZID:/freeassociation.sourceforge.net/Tzfile/Europe/Andorra
X-LIC-LOCATION:Europe/Andorra
BEGIN:STANDARD
TZNAME:CET
DTSTART:19701027T020000
RRULE:FREQ=YEARLY;BYDAY=-1SU;BYMONTH=10
TZOFFSETFROM:+0200
TZOFFSETTO:+0100
END:STANDARD
BEGIN:DAYLIGHT
TZNAME:CEST
DTSTART:19700331T030000
RRULE:FREQ=YEARLY;BYDAY=-1SU;BYMONTH=3
TZOFFSETFROM:+0100
TZOFFSETTO:+0200
END:DAYLIGHT
END:VTIMEZONE
PRODID://Nokia Corporation//Maemo5 Calendar PR1.2//EN
BEGIN:VEVENT
---------> (here comes one event) <------------
END:VEVENT
END:VCALENDAR

Why Andorra? I don't know. Probably because it is the first
alphabetically in the CET/CEST (Central European Time) timezone. There
were a few other timezones used in the file; they don't match the
location of the event itself, they might match the location where the
computer was when the event was created?

Anyway, since most event times are in UTC time anyway (with a Z
postfix), I just merged all events in one calendar, and that imported
fine in davical.

Why "most events"? Well, the "all day" events have their time in
localtime; e.g.:

DTSTART:20130524T000000
DTEND:20130525T000000

I decided to just take the risk of having the "a few hours" drift for
these events in the migration...
