unix domain socket permissions

Hi list,

when I run Conserver with unix domain sockets (configured with
--with-uds), the server daemon creates sockets under /tmp/conserver
with umask 022. As a result, you have to either be root to use
console(1), or manually fix socket permissions until the next restart
of conserver(8).

Is there any way of setting the permissions on the socket persistently?
