if you're as out of touch as i am, you may not have heard about the sco
attack against open source licensing in the united states. normally i
ignore frivolous and obviously silly lawsuits and attacks, but this one
struck a cord and i wanted to spread the word. i put a brief blurb on
the conserver website with links to a couple key sites and i encourage
you to read about it and decide for yourself...being aware is just a
"good thing".
by the way, i don't want to start a thread about this on this mailing
list. there are plenty of sites out there dedicating to discussing,
analyzing, and ranting about this. i just wanted folks, who obviously
support open source, to be aware.
