sha256 or even sha1 or even md5?
(Well, ideally, sha256).
Checking the download url, backing up to http://www.clamav.net/win32,
there is an MD5SUMS file, but the checksum shown is not the checksum
for the current download. Nor do the dates for the files match.
(November 2010 for the download, february last year for the checksums
file.)
Showing a current checksum would, for instance, give more options for
dealing with cnet and other places that bundle downloads in
inconvenient and tricky ways.
Or am I just not finding it?
