Realtime scanning

Realtime scanning

I am new to Calmwin. I have just installed the latest version. I tried to downloada a virus from my inbox. It did not give me any warning. It is already in the database of Calmwin.I want to know whether it is a Realtime scanner or not? After downloading I scanned the drive it detects fine.

Not that this list is for ClamAV, not ClamWin.
To answer your question: NO, nieither ClamAV nor ClamWin are realtime
scanners.

Hello.

clamav is not real time scanner. It is scanner on demand. It also scan's all
incoming and outgoing mail if you use mail server with clamav.
ClamAv is great AV for my mail scanner. It can be modified in a lot of ways.

Just keep up good work developers of ClamAv, you are great.
