ClamAV installation is OUTDATED!

ClamAV installation is OUTDATED!

I am running the latest ClamAV binaries downloaded from
w32.clamav.net. Yet whenever freshclam updates, the log includes the
warning that my ClamAV installation is OUTDATED, current functionality
level = 11, recommended = 20.

It's particularly annoying, as I am using the GUI shell Tech-Protect,
which diligently pops up a message balloon and changes the tray icon
to a red warning shield to alert me of this. I understand that the
Windows version may lag behind the Linux one but this has been
happening for months.

It's possible that it still says 19, but I can't see any binaries that
would have 11. You haven't said which binary, just the website, please
give the full URL of the binary which states 11 is its FLEVEL.

Funny thing, Nigel, but it seems to change. This morning's message has
two warnings: current=14 and recommended=20, and then further down
current=14 and recommended=16.

These are the individual binaries downloaded by clicking on the links
along the bottom of the w32.clamav.net page.

Hi There,

I'm getting a similar error to Julian (from 24th July) in that the
installation is being flagged as outdated despite being the latest 0.91
binaries from w32.clamav.net

My log always says: current functionality level = 19, recommended = 20.
Are there any suggestions about a workaround for this? Would using the
debug version be a reliable alternative?
