Whats this: -> stream: Unable to open file or directory ERROR

Hi,

tonight our clamav stops scanning mails and produce tons of alerts like

Configuration:

clamd listening on TCP and scanning mail from Exim.

After restarting the clamd everythings works fine, but whats the reason ??

Any idea?

Probably the result of a full tmp filesystem.

Look into exim's error log.

After reboot /tmp is usually cleaned and in some configurations swap and tmp are
the same partition so your server may have been swapping because of other
problems... better check out the system's log too.

Hi Rene,

thanks, but the problem stops after restarting the clamd-process, not
rebooting the machine.

And there no space- or memory-problems .....

Strange !
