Clamav-milter refuses to die on sig 15.

Anyone else notice that clamav-milter does not play nice on glibc-2.2.5
boxes? I can reproduce this on slackware 8.1 and redhat 7.3 machines.
It doesn't seem to matter if I compile with pthreads or not. I have
tried 0.68-1, 0.70, and cvs and in each case clamav-milter refuses to
die without a kill -9.
Any ideas on a fix or work around?
