Sample virus signatures needed urgently

Hi!

I am working on some academic project and need to use sample signatures from
ClamAV's signature database. I have downloaded daily.cvd and main.cvd but am
unable to extract individual virus signatures from them. So, can someone
please tell me how to extract the signatures from them or can someone send
me the list of signatures in plain text format?

man sigtool

Thanks guys. I will install the necessary stuff and check this out. I had
thought that sigtool only gave statistics on the virus database and not the
individual signatures.
