I have contacted SourceFire about the GPL violations.

In terms of sheer numbers this is huge, because
Xandros OS and "Xandros Anti-Virus" are installed on
the very popular Asus EEE PC mini-laptops. Asus has
already sold 100,000 of these laptops [1], and expects
over 3.8 million to be sold in 2008 [2].

Thanks

clamav (0.88.2.1.x4.1-1) unstable; urgency=low

* using Xandros version

-- Package Maintainer <pkgmaint[at]xandros.com> Wed, 17 May 2006 19:16:46 -0400

really no diffs versus clamav 0.88.2, so
if the binary is built from this source
there are no gpl violations

this version still has some critical vulnerabilities
