ClamAV and Net&System security
|

translation of its content, in short, is available at the bottom]
Gentili utenti,
siamo lieti di annunciarvi che ClamAV sara' presente con tre interventi
a Net&System Security (http://www.atsystem.org), il convegno sulle nuove
frontiere dell'IT security che si terra' presso l'auditorium del CNR di
Pisa il prossimo 13 Ottobre.
L'evento e' organizzato dalla associazione no profit @System
in collaborazione con l'istituto IIT del CNR e l'Universita' di Pisa.
I lavori occuperanno l'intera giornata e vedranno susseguirsi
interessanti approfondimenti sugli aspetti del mondo della sicurezza
che nel corso dell'anno si sono maggiormente imposti all'attenzione
degli addetti ai lavori, tra cui:
- Mobile Systems: smartphone e sicurezza
- WiFi 802.11i e WiMAX 802.16d: rischi e potenzialita'
- Location-based Wireless Security
- Wireless Hacking: dimostrazione live delle debolezze del WEP
- Open Solaris & Security
Nella sessione pomeridiana, dalle 15.30 in poi, verra' dato spazio al
tema delle protezioni antivirus e antispam sui server di posta:
- Pinguini in sala macchine: tra funzionalita' e sicurezza

- ClamAV Antivirus, un toolkit per la protezione dai virus sviluppato su
piattaforma UNIX e rilasciato con licenza GPL

- Filtraggio dei contenuti sui server di posta: come evitare brutte
sorprese agli utenti
Relatore: Luca Gibelli - membro del team di ClamAV

Dear ClamAV users,
we are glad to announce that ClamAV will be present at Net&System
Security (http://www.atsystem.org), the one-day conference about
IT security which will take place at the italian National Research
Council (CNR) in Pisa, on October 13th.
There will be three talks about ClamAV, starting from 15.30:
- Penguins in the server room, between functionality and security
by Andrea Barberio - Slackit.org staff
- ClamAV Antivirus, a GPL antivirus toolkit for UNIX
by Tomasz Kojm - ClamAV project leader
- Content filtering on mail servers: how to protect your users
by Luca Gibelli - member of the ClamAV team
The official working language of the conference is Italian (most
speakers are italians, foreign speakers will have an interpreter).
Entrance is free, everybody is invited to join.
Currently the registration form
(http://www.atsystem.org/atsystem/register.html) is only available in
Italian, if you plan to take part to the conference send me a message
at luca-at-clamav-dot-net with your details (name, country, email) and
I'll forward them to @System.
