IP Communicator and Unity MWI

Hello there,
I am having problems in the lab lighting up MWI on IP Communicator 2.1.1. CM
4.1.3
integrated with Unity 4.0.5, voicemail left (and verified), MWI/envelope
icon on
IP Communicator does not show up. If I dial "MWI ON" extension from IP
Communicator, the envelope icon appears.
MWI on IP Blue connected to the same cluster works fine, envelope appears
without dialing "MWI ON" extension
Any suggestions?
Thanks very much
Alex

Thanks Scott.
IPC and IP Blue are both in <None> partition. CSS on Unity ports has not been explicitly set and is left as <None>.
Any more ideas?

Re: IP Communicator and Unity MWI [In reply to]

Have you watched the port monitor to verify that Unity is even trying to
light the MWI for this user? If it is, check the app log, it will report
a warning if it got reorder (likely css/pt issue). If it is not even
attempting, your problem is further upstream than callmanager, either
Unity isn't configured to do it in the first place, or it is not getting
the updates from Exchange.

It seems doubtful it is an issue unique to IPC (unless you've got odd
connectivity), as Unity doesn't know the difference between endpoints.
What happens if you configure a shared line on it, does one light and
the other not?
