Add Subscriber in Cluster

Hi

We have added two CCM in a Cluster in which there were another two, I
now have 4 CCM (1 publisher and 3 Subscribers), when active services,
the calls between phones there is a delay to establish time of the call
and the system is very slow.

Any suggestions

Thanks.

Carlos

You'll want to look at the platform that you are using, the number of phones
and the deployment (are you separating CMs across the WAN). Any of the
following could cause a performance issue, like you are experiencing.

Hi,

thank you for your answers,

The CCM is the version 4.1, we have approximately 1000 phones between local and remote phones and the idea was distributed in 4 CCM to balance the load.

Thanks

Carlos

Re: Add Subscriber in Cluster [In reply to]

Carlos - If the 4 CCMs are separated across the WAN, you have to insure that
you have the correct QoS set up between these sites. According to the Cisco
SRND document, you will want to make sure that you have no more than 40mSec
round-trip delay between any two CMs. And, at least 900k of bandwidth for
every 10,000BHCAs. This is needed for the communication between CMs (the
SDL) and the replication from publisher to subs. Not having this, will
cause the condition that you described. Hope this helps!

Dave
