Unity C:\ drive disc space

I have an issue on my Unity server where I am getting low disc space alerts,
the disk management says and if I right click on the c drive in My Computer
and select properties it states that I have used 10gb however if I select
all the files then right click on them and select properties it only says
5gb of used space. All the otehr drives are reporting the same. Anyone know
why this is or come across this before as I confused why.

Re: Unity C:\ drive disc space [In reply to]

Hi,

The right-click method is not reliable if you are not also selecting all
files, folders including hidden files etc. I'd suggest using a program
like "Disk Space Explorer" if you want to accurately measure folder size
and work out what folders are using all the space.

If you have onbox exchange voicemail make sure that the exchange files
are not installed on the C: drive. A default install of exchange will
everything in C: and the exchange database tends to grow large in a
default install.

Nick.
