FW: IPCC forums

Personally, I like going to one place. I can also just bypass the other
ones I don't want.

Just my 2 cents.

Just as a matter of differentiation (and reducing the number of
potentially unwanted messages for some viewers), should we make a
IPCC/contact center/ivr/tcl mailing list?

Also you could use: ask-icd-ivr-support [at] external

You can also try the Netpro forum, probably the Contact Center
area:

Thanks.

It was really just a question because I've seen it in numerous other groups.
I'm surprised I didn't get flamed ;-)

Re: FW: IPCC forums [In reply to]

I'm not surprised. The professionalism of this list is excellent. Aside from the few vendors spamming us offline (which I don't consider real users).

I'm on a list where there errupts a tirade of flames every once and a while, some of which are ridiculous.

The last was some guy who complained about spelling their vs they're vs there. His comment was genuine enough, but it was like a match to a couldron of gasoline.

Re: FW: IPCC forums [In reply to]

I've never used IPCC Express because we don't own it. I'd like to start
playing with it since I have a spare CallManager in my cluster that is
not being used. Does the IPCC Express CDs that come with CallManager
have some sort of expiration date? Is this a good start?

Re: FW: IPCC forums [In reply to]

No, but it's like the super-basic version. VERY limited functionality and 5
seats. I think it might also be restricted to being co-resident with
CallManager.

But, it would be a good start if you've never touched it before.

Re: FW: IPCC forums [In reply to]

Hi All,

I am using IPCC Express 3.5 for call recording. The server records the
calls but retains them for 7 days only.

I am not able to find the option in the web interface where I can
increase the retention time of calls to 3 weeks.

Kindly help.

Regards,

Monika
