voicemail pilot issue

CCM7.x
2811 - H323 Gateway.

Last week we had to move our Publisher to a new power feed so shut it down, calls to normal DDI's and Hunt's hoped over to the Subscriber.

However the main incoming DDI that points at a hunt pilot did not work.

Checking the Voice gateway the Dial Peers point to both CCM nodes..

Anyone got any bright ideas?

Cheers

Rob

Re: voicemail pilot issue [In reply to]

Is the Hunt Pilot registered with a server? In CUCM, check the CUCM Group that is associated with the Hunt List for that Hunt Pilot. It sounds like the Subscriber isn't in that group. If the group only contains the Publisher, then when the Publisher went down it would have no server to register with.

Re: voicemail pilot issue [In reply to]

Thanks.

There is no group option on the actual Hunt Pilot.

But on the hunt group there is a Call manager group, and that group does have both PUB/SUB

Re: voicemail pilot issue [In reply to]

I think I may have sussed this,

The IP of the subscriber was changed last year, trawling through Unity I found under

telephony integration > Port group > Servers...

the old server IP. So I updated and restarted the port group.

Will see what happens when I test tomorrow.
