my question is:

2. I read troubleshooting in cisco.com but i don't understand, does
anyone can give another easy step by step to change time stamp
or date/time in cisco IP Phone 7961?

Re: how to Change date / time in cisco IP Phone 7961 [In reply to]

Your core switch is not synchronized as you see te stratum is 16 which
meas is not a good source if your switch was synchronized; it'd be a
good source

Do you have cucm or ccme?

Re: how to Change date / time in cisco IP Phone 7961 [In reply to]

Can you post the NTP section from your router's config?

Also, yes, it's ok to use a core switch as a central NTP server. It's
actually pretty common.

If the clock on the router is correct (and a timezone is specified), then
the problem may be that the phone's aren't using it.

If CCME, go into telephony-service and create cnf-files and reset the phone.

Re: how to Change date / time in cisco IP Phone 7961 [In reply to]

Based upon below all looks correct, try a “telephony-service, restart all” which resets the phones or a reload after hours. If still a issue I suggest try changing 7961 load or opening a TAC case for troubleshooting.

What time are the phones showing compared to current time? Is it off 1 hour? Or showing GMT? Perhaps wrong timezone under “telephony-service, timezone x”.

If the clock on the router is correct (and a timezone is specified), then the problem may be that the phone's aren't using it.

If CCME, go into telephony-service and create cnf-files and reset the phone.

2. I read troubleshooting in cisco.com but i don't understand, does anyone can give another easy step by step to change time stamp or date/time in cisco IP Phone 7961?
