have I bricked a phone ?

I accidently installed the latest firmware for a 7945 on a 4.2 machine. I booted one phone and it is not loading the phone. I reread the doco for it and found that it is not supported on this version of callmanager. I reinstalled the 8-5.2 firmware but the phone is getting an error of auth failure.

Did I brick it ?

Have you tried factory resetting it? It should bypass the security side of things enough for the new firmware to be downloaded onto the phone...
