unable to backup CCX 7.0(1)

Hi everyone,

I can not backup CCX 7.0(1)SR4 although i had disabled the CSA from
window services. Every time I tried to save the backup location, it
failed with error Unknown username or password. I got no problem with
UCM/CUP/UCX backups running on Linux. All the backup is targeted at same
server with both FTP and SFTP enabled. Has anyone encountered this issue
and willing to share?

thanks,
DEnny

I had a similar problem before

could you please tell me if your storage location is locally or a network
drive?

could you please post the path for your backup location

thanks

Going to that backup server would of course likely require domain
credentials to login since it's hitting a UNC path. So, have you tried
DOMAIN\Username or username [at] domainsuffi for the username?

Hi,
the CCX server is not part of domain so I believe we should use the
local SFTP/FTP server account. I have feeling this is a BUG though.

UCCX uses UNC (aka network shares) for backup not sftp/ftp, i have CCX
7.0(1)SR4 backing up just fine
