Interesting. I wonder how close the CUCM and CUC v7 interfaces are. I'm not having a problem printing from within CUC v7. Unless I'm missing something. Oh well, time will tell. Maybe Cisco will bundle "printing" in their Operations Manager software. ;) --- Lelio Fulgenzi, B.A. Senior Analyst (CCS) * University of Guelph * Guelph, Ontario N1G 2W1 (519) 824-4120 x56354 (519) 767-1060 FAX (JNHN) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ "Bad grammar makes me [sic]" - Tshirt ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jason Fuermann" <JBF005[at]shsu.edu> To: "Lelio Fulgenzi" <lelio[at]uoguelph.ca>, "Wes Sisk" <wsisk[at]cisco.com> Cc: "Cisco Voip" <cisco-voip[at]puck.nether.net> Sent: Monday, July 6, 2009 11:02:35 AM GMT -05:00 US/Canada Eastern Subject: RE: [cisco-voip] Printing from CCMAdmin It’s the same in v7. I’m not sure that I could call it a problem with the Comm Manager though. It’s more of a problem with the browser. Frames are a thing of the past and CSS is the new way to do it, browsers should take that into account. It's not so much for a "backup" (although that is useful), but more for procedural events for example. I print many pages off for documentation, reference, training, "check off" lists, etc. BAT export and AXL are not always an option, where the print button is. I'm truly surprised that printing in CCM v6 is an issue. Please, someone tell me it's not in v7. --- Lelio Fulgenzi, B.A. Senior Analyst (CCS) * University of Guelph * Guelph, Ontario N1G 2W1 (519) 824-4120 x56354 (519) 767-1060 FAX (JNHN) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ "Bad grammar makes me [sic]" - Tshirt ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wes Sisk" <wsisk[at]cisco.com> To: "Bill Simon" <bills[at]psu.edu> Cc: "Cisco Voip" <cisco-voip[at]puck.nether.net> Sent: Monday, July 6, 2009 10:48:09 AM GMT -05:00 US/Canada Eastern Subject: Re: [cisco-voip] Printing from CCMAdmin Hi Bill, We have seen this request come into TAC a few times. However, we're still lacking clarity. Why are prints are necessary? New features such as BAT export and AXL should generate text based reports and displace the need for printing. Worst case scenario 'run sql ...' from CLI. Or, even better, just take a backup and save it off to a safe place. But why do you want prints? They cannot be migrated or used for anything other than stare-and-compare which is a very manual and error prone process. /Wes On Sunday, July 05, 2009 4:58:00 PM, Bill Simon <bills[at]psu.edu> wrote: > Can anyone using CUCM 6.x comment on how you print configs from CCMADMIN? > > > Bill Simon wrote: >> Has anyone come up with a solution to print off pages from CCMAdmin >> in the 5.x+ version of CUCM? >> >> We recently upgraded from 4.1.3 to 6.1.3 and like the new >> CCMAdmin--on screen.
