Any One using or Tried Using EAP with Radius
|

Hi all
i am using cisco UBR 7246 as our pppoe concentrator
after trying for around 2-3 days i was unable to get
the clients MAC address in radius access-request,
after going through few docs i came to know that
it's possible with the help of EAP , so i tried
giving "ppp authentication eap" command in my
virtual-template defination but now when i tries to
connect through pppoe client (winpoet) it gives error
734 : ppp link control protocol terminated on winpoet
and following error for LCP on my UBR 7246 logs

as soon as i remove the command (ppp authentication
eap) from virtual-template defination it starts
working
so kindly guide me whether i am going in the right
direction by enabling EAP ? will i be able to get the
client's MAC address in access-request if i enable EAP
? how can i rectify this error ? i tried almost
everything that came to my mind but wasn't able to
solve this EAP error so kindly help me
