[nsp] version difference problem

Hi All,
I m having two cisco6509 switches in my office having two
"WS-X6416-GBIC" modules each.I m moving one "WS-X6416-GBIC" from
one switch to another. But i see version difference between two
switches as shown below:

Catalyst cisco 6509 switch from which module will be REMOVED :

csnoida1a> show module 3
Mod Slot Ports Module-Type Model Sub
Status
--- ---- ----- ------------------------- ------------------- ---
--------
3 3 16 1000BaseX Ethernet WS-X6416-GBIC no
ok

Mod Module-Name Serial-Num
--- ------------------- -----------
3 SAD04281DT3

Mod MAC-Address(es) Hw Fw Sw
--- -------------------------------------- ------ ----------
-----------------
3 00-02-7e-24-44-38 to 00-02-7e-24-44-47 1.2 5.4(2)
5.5(1)

Catalyst cisco 6509 switch in which module will be inserted :

noida-switch1> show module 5
Mod Slot Ports Module-Type Model Sub
Status
--- ---- ----- ------------------------- ------------------- ---
--------
5 5 16 1000BaseX Ethernet WS-X6416-GBIC no
ok

Mod Module-Name Serial-Num
--- ------------------- -----------
5 SAL0539C2Y2

Mod MAC-Address(es) Hw Fw Sw
--- -------------------------------------- ------ ----------
-----------------
5 00-05-9a-8f-92-d0 to 00-05-9a-8f-92-df 1.0 5.4(2)
5.5(11)

1)Will this version difference create some porblem ?
2)If yes what r the steps for the solution ?
3)Pls suggest some document to understand the significance of all
this version numbers?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks & Regards
Arun

The differences you see are for the hardware and firmware revisions of the
cards themselves, nothing to do with the switch. (The card in the second
switch is slightly older than the first one) These two cards will
co-exist quite happily in the same switch. You're running slightly
different Catalyst software on the two switches (5.5.1 vs. 5.5.11) but
both these versions are compatible with any hardware revision of that card.
