12.2S is the service provider train.

So, you might have all sorts of enterprisey stuff like telephony and SNA
and IPX and that sort of pizazz in the regular ISR trains. However, the S
image will have much more advanced support for stuff like mpls or bfd or
better ipv6 support or the sort of things that you'll need if you're a
service provider.
