confreg on SP was 0, re-configuring conf-reg solved the issue :-)

7600#remote command switch show boot
BOOT variable = bootdisk:c7600s72033-ipservices-mz.122-33.SRD.bin,1;
CONFIG_FILE variable =
BOOTLDR variable does not exist
Configuration register is 0x0 (will be 0x2102 at next reload)
