Cache and expire configuration

How can i configure and force cherokee always show the most updated version
of some pieces (jpg backgrounds, some php includes inside a page, etc)?
I set content expiration to "custom value 1m" and and management caches to
"no-cache" but chrome is caching always (304 response in logs), while
firefox and explorer seem to work ok.
