A question about the cherokee PPA version (package)

Hi,

I have installed cherokee through the PPA instead of the default Ubuntu
9.04 package so I get the latest up to date version. (0.99.24).
But when I log in to the admin I see: No TLS/SSL (and nothing in the
pulldown), openssl is installed:

root [at] pcintelw0:/etc/cherokee# openssl version
OpenSSL 0.9.8g 19 Oct 2007

What could be wrong that cherokee doesn't see my openssl version?

And can I still use the multiple SSL certs on different unique
ip-adresses (pre openssl 1 I guess) ?

Kind regards,

Michiel

And can I still use the multiple SSL certs on different unique
ip-adresses (pre openssl 1.0 I guess)

Another question: how do I enable the fastcgi package?
It installed the spawncgi package (i A spawn-fcgi

But how do I enable it ?

Kind regards,

You mean FastCGI is not available under "Virtual Servers" --->
_some_server_ ---> "Behavior" ---> _some_rule_ ---> Handler?
(As in: http://localhost:9090/vserver/10/rule/100)

Yes, is it also available as the ssl/tls options by installing a package?
(spawn-fcgi and php5-cli are installed).

Kind Regards,

Michiel

Allright!
I found the solution for Ubuntu Jaunty systems:
-install the default cherokee (0.11 or so)
-install the PPA repository for cherokee
-start php-fcgi or use an init script from the internet
-aptitude update && aptitude safe-upgrade

Tada! :)
