Virtual Servers Hostname Matching

Hey there.

I'm having hard time figuring this out. I have the default virtual
host and another one created by Wordpress wizard. Since I am running
Cherokee locally what am I supposed to set the Wordpress hostname to?
Please explain me the process.

Thanks
Tomás Senart

Well, there are many answers to your question... My solution of choice would
be to simulate a real hostname. So, here it is:

1) create an entry in your hosts file (I don't know what OS are you using)
like www.yourdomain.com pointing to 127.0.0.1
2) set the nickname (or host match) of the desired vhost to
www.yourdomain.com in cherokee-admin
3) configure the Wordpress hostname as www.yourdomain.com

The big advantage: it is really straight forward to migrate into production
if you use real names.
I hope this helps you.
Cheers.

Locally? Edit etc/hosts and get yourself an extra localhost hostname
pointing to 127.0.0.1
