Issue 928 in cherokee: PHP wizard failed

An error message should appear in that dialog. Weird :-/

Is php-cgi installed? Is is fcgi compatible?
If so, does running the admin with -x yield any extra information when the
error occurs?

php-fcgi is installed, running with -x didnt help

apt-get install php5-cgi , then restart cherokee and try to setup php in
admin panel.

Does this issue still occur? Did it have anything to do with having both
php-cgi and php-fpm installed?

If there is no way to reproduce it maybe we should close the bug.

This bug was opened in July and a way to reproduce it hasn't been found.
I'm closing it. Please reopen if it can be reproduced and it will be fixed
ASAP.

I experienced this with Cherokee 1.0.8-5 on Debian Squeeze (stable), so the
cherokee package you get from aptitude.
