make devclone error (1.10.2)

Hello,

My installed version of Bricolage is 1.10.2. I just untarred 1.10.2 into /tmp/bricoloage-1.10.2/ and ran "make devclone"

I received the following error message:
The installed version ("1.10.2") is not same as this version! "make
clone" is only designed to work with like versions.
Continue with clone? [no]

What should I do?

Thank you,
Mike

1. Why are you using such an ancient version of Bricolage?
2. Are you sure that 1.10.2 is what you have installed in /usr/local/bricolage?

Best,

David

1.10.2 is the version of our existing install. Once I clone it and move it to a new server, I am going to upgrade.

I believe so. Doesn't the error message confirm this?

Thanks,
Mike

Okay. Why devclone instead of clone?

Yes, I suppose it does. Sounds like something's broken. You should be safe creating a clone from 1.10.7, frankly. It will copy all of your installed files in preference to its own.

Best,

David
