Deployed templates disappearing

Hello,

I've started developing some templates for my Bricolage 1.11.1 (upgraded
to 1.11.2) install, and have noticed what to me seems a strange behavior
of the system. After deploying a template I'm unable to list it (for
instance under "Active templates"). I know it is phisically there -
under $BRIC_ROOT/data/burn/comp/oc1/ - but I can't get it listed in the UI.

I guess this is not the normal behavior, but I don't know what I have
done wrong. I don't get any error messages (nor in the bricolage.log)
either.

Can you help me?

Best,

Michael

Hi Michael,

The "Active" links show you assets (stories/media/templates) that are
currently in workflow (that is, on a desk).

When you deploy a template, or publish a story or a media document, it
is removed from workflow and no longer shows up as active.

When you're searching for templates or other assets, if you want to see
the complete list, put a % character in the search field. (Note that
this will be very slow if you have a lot of assets.) Searching on a
blank field will always return no results.

Hope this helps,

Bret

Is that true even for templates? (Sorry, we don't use the normal
Templates interface here... ^.^)
It's not true for Element Types, for example, because there aren't
that many of them generally.

Uhhh ... I had forgotten the % wildcard from my previous Bricolage
experience (back in 2004). Thanks for reminding it to me.

Best,

Michael
