1.10.6 disappearing story issue

1.10.6 disappearing story issue

I've created 2 stories in 10.6 for testing/template development so
far which I've saved but not published.

I go through a series of template modifications for the story,
redeploying the template each time, and checking the effect on the
Preview version of the story by refreshing the repreview window.

Twice now when I've gone back to publish the story it doesn't come up
in a search. However If I do a search with 'include deleted' it turns
up.

I've used this development method on earlier versions of Bricolage and
never had this problem.

Does anyone have any insights? This must be a bug.

What is the latest version you've used that didn't have this problem?

I've never had this problem before.
