bricolage 2.0

Are many places using (what will be) "Bricolage 2.0"?
We're thinking of upgrading to it. (!)

W00t!

I have a patch to get in, and want to get the AJAX stuff tweaked a
bit, but other than that, AFAIC, it's ready. I'll try to get things
done for an RC next week.

Best,

In its current form, it's not production ready. The AJAX stuff
exacerbates some of the caching issues that are in the 1.10 branch
making the interface close to unusable.

If lots of things get worked out of it by next year, we'll be looking
at upgrading next summer. But not before since we won't do a major
change over like that during the school year. We'll probably do
testing and bug finding if we get a chance until that time.

We'll shortly be starting a rebuild of the CMS for which we originally
selected Bricolage way back in 2004.

I'm hoping that we'll be able to do that using Bric 2 since it's a
complete throw away and start again job (change of destination systems
and both need to run alongside each other for UAT etc).

I'll keep the list posted.

Really? Have you filed a bug report for this?

Cool, thanks.
