Drag & Drop - A question

Sarah and I were working on the pulldown menu bug today (bug 1406).

http://bugs.bricolage.cc/show_bug.cgi?id=1406

We noticed when drag and drop elements were implemented, the work used
a custom drag function in lib.js (beginDrag) instead of a prototype or
scriptaculous method. Doing a search in the commits doesn't show me
when this function made it into the tree. Was it there before the
ajax work began? Did the scripaculous methods not work properly?

Thanks,

Matt

You might try

svn blame lib.js

to see in what revision the function changed
(and who changed it).

Thanks. It looks like it's been there for a while.

If you can replace it with a Scriptaculous function, then great.

Best,

David
