CPAN installation

So, David just fixed a bug in trunk where the cpan.pl script wouldn't
continue down the chain of modules. Now it does follow the modules.
However, it now looks like if there's a prereq for any of the modules,
the script will error out and you have to add them by hand. The error
looks like this:

---- Unsatisfied dependencies detected during ----
---- DCLINTON/Cache-Cache-1.05.tar.gz ----
Digest::SHA1 [requires]
Shall I follow them and prepend them to the queue
of modules we are processing right now? [yes]
Running make test
Delayed until after prerequisites
Running make install
Delayed until after prerequisites
*** Error code 1

At first I thought it might be an issue with CPAN itself, but now I'm
not so sure. Is there a way that the script can follow these modules
and not just error out?

Yes, that's more than likely something that can be tweaked in cpan.pl.

Best,

Ok. I'll leave that bug open, then.

Many thanks, it works much better now!
