Re: Bugzilla Server Down?

Everyone,

The server currently hosting Bugzilla will be decommissioned on
Saturday. I will move bugs.bricolage.cc to a temporary server (will
need someone to update DNS) but we need to find a permanent home for
it ASAP.

Hi,

We can provide a Debian VM with access to a clustered MySQL server if it
would be useful ? It could also run on postgres installed locally.

regards,

P.

So this brings us back to my original request for help on this front.
Marshall has generously shared his server with us for Bugzilla for
years, but now we need a new home for bug reporting.

So, some suggestions:

* Migrate to Trac. We could use the same instance as buildingbrics.com.
* Use Lighthouse. I believe that it's free to OSS projects, and has an
email interface and can show commits (even on a remote server).
* Keep using Bugzilla
* Use something else.

Who would like to take this on?

Thanks,

David

That'd be great and probably the easiest thing in the near term. It
uses MySQL and Apache and is currently running on a VPS with 192MB
RAM, though it would be fine with less RAM, especially without the
database.

If people want to switch to a different solution like the ones David
mentioned, we could do that now or we could use the VM for a while and
still switch later. I think we might want more than 3 days to evaluate
the other options.

Thanks!
Marshall

Paul and I are working on moving it to a new VM. We have the server
set up, just need the database now.
