[Bug 1459] contributor interface not intuitive

I have the first one wrong. You can associate two contribs, but you then can't
delete them.
1) Delete one from the popup window; click Save, and it appears to go away, but
then click Add again and there are still two there.
2) Click the Delete button in the Story Profile. The page reloads, bringing you
back to the top, but nothing is deleted.
3) In the popup window, click one of the Delete buttons. Now click the other
one, and it brings brings back the first one!
