Gentoo ebuild

Hey all,

I'm trying to build a Gentoo ebuild for Wackamole, and running into some
minor trouble.

First, Gentoo ebuilds, by default, download the source tarball for each
compile. That doesn't work with the enter-your-email-address CGI. It's
a small tarball, so it's possible the gentoo developers will host it on
their own mirrors, but it would be great if you could provide a URL
against which a 'wget' would work.

Second, and more importantly, I just ran into the same error as reported
here:

http://lists.backhand.org/pipermail/wackamole-users/2004-December/000393.html

that was almost two years ago! My ebuild is currently downloading the
most recent version (2.1.1), but it seems that doesn't compile. I will
change that to do a CVS checkout, but before the ebuild gets
incorporated into Gentoo proper, it should have a functional release
tarball. Any word on when that will happen?

Thanks!

Dustin

2.1.2 was okayed for release a long time back Sept 9 2004. No one
rolled it (that'd be me). I rolled it and it is available now. I
mirror most of that stuff:

Wow, that's service!

If anyone's interested, the bug for the new ebuild is here:
