How do i set my directive

Just finish installing mod back hand to two RD linux 7.1 and also viewed
form the web browser the mod_backhand-Arriba.Im on the phase of making a
test

what should i put on the directives if i wanted to access say .php files on
one of the server.

whats the biggest install based of mod_backhand

There are good docs in the ApacheCon course notes. It gives clear
examples of how to accomplish what you describe. They are available on
the bottom of the www.backhand.org main page.

No idea. I serve about 3 million page views/day on one of my small
mod_backhand clusters. It is a two tier mod_backhand setup. Two
front-end machines running mod_ssl and mod_backhand and 3 heavy mod_*
and mod_backhand on the second tier.

I am sure people run much bigger installs than that... I have looked at
a few.

when i start my apache i got this error
