Wrong Values on the Mod_backhand status page

HiHo

i have installed mod_backhand spread and wackamole on fresh

freebsd 6.1 systems. (5 Node Cluster)

All is working wonderfull but....

On the status-page /backhand all is shown but the free memory is not correct.

Avail Mem is not in MB, it seems to be a value in kb and the cpu-idle is always 0.000.

Everything else is correct.

Any hints to get that working............. .

thanks for your time and help

Dirk

Wrong Values on the Mod_backhand status page [In reply to]

 Ahoi,

problem nearly solved.

I load the *.c files from cvs and recompiled mod_backhand.

Now all Values are correct.

The special files from cvs i downloaded are 31 month old.

So the maintainer from the mod_backhand port at freebsd 6.1 seems to be a little late ;)))

Only Cpu/idle is not working.

So i have a look at platform.c.

The cpu/idle is calculated within with the sysctl parameter KERN_CPUSTATS.

This parameter has been outdated since Version 4.4 of Freebsd.

There is no äqivalent parameter but a new one.........but i'am not a

c-programmer and not keen enough for that.............so the idle time will be alway 0 on newer FreeBsd systems.

Have a nice time

Dirk
