how to try the balance load

I = can see the status windows but i don=B4t know if they are balancing the = load. I have just download the jmetr tool. I lunch jmeter pointing to = www1 but www2 doesn=B4t seem to respond.=20 What can i do to ensure that the server are balancing the load properly? = In that case will be the load meter at the backhand status windows the = same for tej two servers?
