I would like to use backhand with AIX 4.3 but apparently backhand don't run on AIX ...

There is no support for AIX in the mod_backhand tree. So, unless
another user has ported it and not contributed the patches back, you'll
need to take care of that.

From the lack of other responses, I think it is safe to assume no one
has yet ported it to AIX.
