I used to have entries for example... KDE games, Quanta, KDE Tools, etc when logged in under Gnome2. When I used apt-get and pulled down KDE 3.2 it removed those menu entries. I use Gnome2 and some other people use KDE 3.2. However, I can no longer see KDE programs in my menu when logged on through Gnome2. And I'm sure about not being able to see them. I'll try removing desktop-utils and re-adding it to see if it fixes the problem.
